How WomanAid works

01 · Choose your scenario. Start with a situation that matters to you, such as Safe Relationship.

02 · Connect your people. Assign Trusted Contacts and agree what each person should do.

03 · Send an SOS. Activate SOS when needed to share the information you enabled.

Delivery depends on connectivity, permissions and settings. Your contacts decide how to respond; SOS does not automatically dispatch emergency services.

Safety scenarios for your life

Safe Relationship

Quiet SOS for sensitive relationship situations. Choose a neutral Interactive Mode and the trusted people you want to contact.

With your permissions, SOS can share your action plan, location and audio. Recording rules vary. The app cannot guarantee discretion on a shared or monitored device.

Outside Safety

Plan for time outside or at home. Send an SOS and enabled location information to your selected Trusted Contacts.

Compatible siren accessories may help attract attention when connected and configured. Delivery and accessory features depend on connectivity, permissions and availability.

Dignity at Work

Keep a record of difficult workplace situations and decide which trusted people to involve. Available recording and sharing tools depend on your settings, device and region. Check local recording and consent rules before use; WomanAid does not guarantee that recordings will be legally admissible.

Privacy, with you in control

You choose the Trusted Contacts assigned to each Safety Scenario and the information you enable for sharing, such as location or audio. Review those settings together before relying on SOS.

Recording and sharing depend on your permissions, device, region and applicable law. A neutral interface or an extra passcode cannot guarantee that activity will remain unnoticed.

WomanAid is operated by WomanApp B.V. Read our Privacy Policy or contact support@womanaid.com for questions about your data.

Frequently asked questions

• Your SOS is intended for the Trusted Contacts you assign to the active Safety Scenario. Check which contacts and sharing options are enabled, and agree in advance how they should respond. Delivery depends on connectivity, permissions and configuration.

  • By default, SOS notifies your chosen Trusted Contacts; it does not automatically call or dispatch police, an ambulance or other emergency services. Your contacts decide what action to take. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services when it is safe to do so.

  • Remote SOS notifications and data sharing depend on a working connection. Location, microphone and notification permissions also affect available features. Do not assume that an alert has been delivered when your phone is offline or permissions are disabled.

  • Possibly. A neutral Interactive Mode may make the interface less obvious, but it cannot hide all traces of installation or phone activity. Notifications, account access and device monitoring may reveal use. Quick exit on this website does not erase browsing history.

  • Basic Safe Relationship features include quiet SOS, Trusted Contact notifications and in-app recording. Some cloud, audio-sharing or accessory features may require a paid plan or purchase. Check the current options in the app or store for your country; availability can change.

  • You can request deletion and ask about your privacy rights by contacting support@womanaid.com. The Privacy Policy explains how requests are handled and when data may need to be retained. Removing the app from your phone does not necessarily delete your account or stored data.
